Our Story
Centered On Youth (COY), is a non-profit organization which was started on the foundation of offering hope out of hopelessness. We saw young people strapped with circumstances that would be considered overwhelming and devastating for even the strongest adult, yet, they were thrust upon the backs of our youth. We saw that despite their plight, they desired nothing more than to have a chance to survive and make it in life. They wanted to achieve something that resembled a future. They hoped, against all hope for a chance to build a life, minus the dire circumstances and odds stacked against them. Centered On Youth (COY), was started on the foundation of helping them do just that. It became our mission to educate, train and mentor them into a better life.
Our Committment
We're committed to provide socially and economically at risk youth the opportunity to achieve success through participation in mentoring, education, and enrichment programs. We invest our time and talent into programs which allow our young people to thrive and become leaders among their peers, within their schools, homes, and communities. This is the essence of Centered On Youth (COY), and the very reason we believe we're changing lives and building future leaders and fine, exceptional citizens!
