COY Family Support and Training Program
This program is designed to help parents be more effective and efficient in providing support and training to their kids.
The idea of the program is to provide a safe space where parents can go, if they are struggling with parenting skills, for training and support. This includes emotional support as well as practical advice on how to manage specific challenges that children might face.
Programs like this are very important because they can help ease the difficult process of parenting. With these programs, parents are able to give themselves permission to ask for what they need in order to be successful at parenting their children.
What Does the COY Family Support and Training Program Offer?
Let’s face it, parenting is not easy, the skills required are incredibly high and the demands are taxing. We saw the need and are helping fill the void with parenting classes and family coaching. Our goal is to provide assistance with the skills needed to raise children well. These parenting classes and family coaching sessions will be done either in person or online, to meet the needs of the families.
Our sessions help parents learn how to support their child’s development and give them the skills needed for behavioral problems or academic struggles. We teach things such as boundaries and how to set limits on their child’s behavior or make sure that their children are reading enough books.
